Current company news: trade mission to Turkey, UK business seminar, KK finalized in JapanCurrent Company news: |
| 31 March, 2008 - High Street Partners will present at Trade Winds Europe, a business development forum organized by the US Department of Commerce, the International Trade Administration, and the US Commercial Service. Held in Istanbul, Turkey, on April 14-15, the trade mission will focus on the Pan-European market and offer US companies assistance with entering the European market, or expanding their businesses there. HSP President Larry Harding will discuss the finance, compliance, HR, and administrative challenges and opportunities associated with this type of expansion and growth. As part of its 2008 series on international trade, the World Trade Center Palm Beach held a seminar on March 28th focused on doing business with the UK. HSP’s Nancy Wallace gave a talk on the “Ins and Outs of Setting Up a Business in the U.K." HSP has recently completed its KK registration in Japan, a development which not only significantly enhances our support capabilities in-country, but also gives us an opportunity to provide economic efficiencies for clients expanding into Japan. For example, we will now be able to provide Registered Office Address (ROA) and Resident Director (RD) services in house, eliminating the need to utilize local providers for these services. Those fees, as provided by our LSP’s, are expected to rise by approximately 10-15% in June 2008. If you’d like to discuss this development, and how it might result in reduced LSP fees, please contact your account manager. |
