HSP Access America™ offers an entry strategy to US markets at predictable costs from a single provider. Focused on making entry and ongoing operations quick, simple and headache free, the service provides European, Asian and South American businesses a turnkey method for setting up and managing a US subsidiary.
At the outset, HSP provides set-up services, including proper entity structuring, company incorporation and registrations. Once the entity is up and running, we then keep the books, invoice customers as required, and take care of getting suppliers paid, all the while helping clients navigate unfamiliar banking, payroll, insurance, and tax compliance requirements for operating in the US. In short, we take care of all ongoing finance and administrative needs, allowing local employees to focus exclusively on market entry activities and driving sales growth.
In addition to taking care of recurring “back office” accounting and administration services, HSP Access America offers consulting with related needs, including office leasing and employee benefits. We can also provide advice on the various federal, state, and municipal grants and incentives available to overseas firms, and make introductions to development agencies, real estate firms, and marketing and public relations contacts.
A one-time fee covers project assessment and company incorporation and registrations. Fixed monthly fees then cover payrolls and payroll taxes, closing the books, cash management services, customer invoicing, preparation and review of financial statements (in accordance with US GAAP), compliance with state and municipal sales and use tax filings, and assistance with the funding requirements of the entity. Monthly reporting packages include a balance sheet, P&L, trial balance, general ledger detail, cash and other account reconciliations and, if applicable, an inter-company service invoice. Other available services include assistance with office lease requirements, and the sourcing and provision of business insurances (including Property & Casualty, Workers Compensation, Errors & Omissions, and employee Health, Life, and Disability coverage). We also provide benchmarking for US HR compliance requirements.
