Boston-based Scott Aldsworth is well known among venture capital firms and high-profile startups for supporting financial and operational growth in the high-technology arena. His extensive background in international business, specifically for organizations with locations in Western Europe and developed Asian countries, paired with his experience in due diligence and financial modeling complement his expertise in overseeing the financial complexities and analyses involved in international expansion. Scott came to HSP from Sequel Management where, as Managing Director, he successfully raised capital for three buyouts, totaling in the aggregate more than $1.0B. Previous positions include VP of Mergers and Acquisitions for Interliant, where he completed twenty-eight acquisitions of internet service companies in three years; and Senior Director at UNIFI Communications, where he negotiated contracts and managed international compliance requirements with telecommunications vendors and carriers in thirty countries. His experience with contract negotiations and vendor relations benefits HSP's local service providers as well as the firm's clients. Scott holds BA in Finance from Babson College.
